One Direction star Zayn Malik has been acting strangely recently - and we're worried it's because he's got a new girl.

The 19-year-old Zayn - who's been linked to Little Mix's Perrie Edwards and Hollyoaks actress Stephanie Davies, both 18 - has hinted twice in as many weeks that he's no longer single.

We’ve got a sneak peak of the new US version of One Direction’s “Gotta Be You” and you can hear it below.
At first listen it’s not actually that much different, but pay close attention and there are subtle differences. Certain vocals have been autotuned (why?), and there are slightly amended backing tracks as well as a few other nuances – can you spot them?

Released in the UK as 1D’s second single, the track only got to No.3 in the charts, possibly a disappointing result after the smash success of “What Makes You Beautiful”, so perhaps the amended track is to give it a better chance of success in the American market.

One direction have been a huge hit in the US - especially curly-haired Harry Styles.

The 18-year-old Harry, who celebrated his birthday on Wednesday, has already built up an army of American admirers - including students from UCLA.

'We were bombarded with young women coming into the hotel to drop off gifts for Harry,' a hotel worker tells the Daily Star. 'We've had hair products and DVDs, but most of it was underwear, in Victoria's Secret bags.'

On top of the love for Harry across the pond, he also had a pile of goodies to come home to when he arrived back in the UK yesterday.
